In a proactive step to strengthen public service delivery and ensure transparency in electricity services, the Tamil Nadu Government, under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, has announced a one-day special grievance redressal camp for electricity consumers across the state.
The camp will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at all Executive Engineer/O&M Offices of TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited).
This initiative is designed to provide on-the-spot solutions for a wide range of electricity-related issues, including:
- Discrepancies in electricity bill amounts
- Replacement of faulty or outdated meters
- Complaints regarding low voltage supply
- Substitution of damaged electric poles and cables
- Any other power-related inconvenience faced by consumers
Officials have assured that every grievance registered during the camp will be addressed immediately, and proper follow-up will be communicated to each consumer.
The special camp is part of the government’s commitment to responsive governance and timely service delivery, aligning with the Dravidian model of people-first administration.
