With the blessings of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M K stalin, who announced in the state budget that 20 lakh college students will receive free laptops over the next two years, a new library building worth ₹21 lakh was inaugurated today in Ward No. 1 of Coimbatore Corporation North Zone, under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) 2023–2024.

The event was attended by Coimbatore District Collector Mr. P.N. Giriappan I.A.S., Coimbatore Mayor Mrs. Ranganayaki, local body representatives, and members of the public.
